Glogovo and Back to Sofia

On Wednesday, September 4, we headed back toward Sofia.  On the way, we detoured up a remote valley to the village of Glogovo, inhabited mostly by Muslims, though the main cultural difference they had from other Bulgarians appeared to be that a number of the women would dress in balloon pants.  We visited a school and city hall, then had lunch at the home of a family who had their own folk music group, who serenaded us.

Then we went on to Sofia, where we again checked in at the Crystal Palace.  We all went to dinner at a nearby restaurant and said goodbye to one another and the tour.
