On Thursday, June 27, we checked out of the Jose Antonio and got on the bus to Juliaca, where we caught a flight to Lima.
Once in Lima, we checked into the Best Western Plus Urban Larco again for the day (like we did in Buenos Aires last year) and went to lunch at a casual restaurant specializing in seafood.
We rode the bus into the bohemian Barranco district and got off and took a walk through the neighborhood.
We went back to our room at the hotel, and at 7 p.m. the bus took us to the airport, where Pepe got everyone checked in and said goodbye. Our flight to JFK was at 12:05 a.m. and after uneventful flights we got home on the afternoon of Friday, June 28th.
