On Monday, September 12th, we took a walking tour of San Sebastian, whose Basque name is Donostia.
After a light, American-style lunch at the Yellow Deli (operated, we later discovered, by an American religious commune), Mary Joy and I walked up Monte Urgull.
Once we were back down, we took a harbor cruise.
Mary Joy had arranged with the organist at Our Lady of the Coro to have a demonstration of the 1863 Cavaillé-Coll organ.
On the way back to the hotel, we stopped in at the Church of San Vicente, the oldest church in the city.
We had reservations for dinner at Bodegon de Alejandro, where we had a very nice meal.
