On Sunday, September 18th, we had the buffet breakfast at our hotel (not the greatest), then wandered around the old town, the Barri Gòtic ("Gothic Quarter") before 10:30 mass at the Cathedral. We sat right behind the choir, which was wonderful.
We checked out of our hotel, had lunch at Tapas, 24, picked up our bags, and took the Aerobus to the airport. We could have taken the suburban train, using our T-Casual cards, but the Aerobus was a lot simpler to use and just half a block from our hotel.
We caught the 4 p.m. Vueling flight to Geneva, then took the train from there to Lausanne. Our hotel, the Agora Swiss Night, was a block-and-a-half down from the railroad station and half a block from the Grancy metro station. Mary Joy loved the hotel room--its style, layout and convenient storage spaces.
Just up the street was the Cafė de Grancy. Its kitchen was closed for renovation, but it provided simple meals--such as soup, cheese and sausage.
