Hardware Issues

I started this blog because technology allowed it:  we had a Gateway netbook and that enabled us to get onto the internet wherever in the world there was access, uploading text from Word and photos from our camera.  Technology having marched on in the last two years, on our next trips we will have something new, instead of the Gateway, that in a number of ways should be better.  However, in one way it will be quite a bit worse.  I have been unable to use it to upload photographs to this blog.  That means that we will only be able to add photographs at the end of the trip, unless we gain internet access through a hotel lobby computer or an internet cafe.
