Italy?

Things are starting to fall together for our summer trip.  Fly in Copenhagen, a few days in France, a few more days in Switzerland.  That's set.  Afterwards, maybe tool around Italy in a Mercedes A-180 diesel compact (our European rental car of choice--often the cheapest available automatic transmission--they don't sell them, or B-class cars either, in the U.S.).  Then fly to Amsterdam to finish with a few days in the Netherlands.

Summer Europe Trip

We now have our tickets: into Copenhagen, out Amsterdam. We will spend less than a day in Denmark and then go straight to Switzerland. We will probably spend a few days in the Netherlands at the end. Otherwise, we have no set plans and are considering a number of options.
